  • Cheap and conveniently located in south Charlotte right off the freeway. Seems like a newer brand in the Hilton portfolio, and appeared recently decorated inside. However, after looking closely, the building shows signs of age: dings in the wall, dirt on the carpet, terrible ventilation in the hallways. I wonder what used to be here. Room was noisy. AC and fridge were loud, and I could hear the guest above us walking around, plus noise from the hallway. Barely slept. Breakfast is free but Hampton Inns, also in the Hilton portfolio, have better breakfast (and coffee) I think. Stood at the front desk forever before we were helped upon checkout. Based on the amenities in the room, they seem to cater to people looking to spend a week or so here. It was fine for a night, but I wouldn't stay more than that here.
