  • Bleh. If this is the best sushi in Charlotte, my god. They only have uni on Friday and Saturday, a good sign that this is not a place that is serious about fish and doesn't draw in people serious about fish. This is a breed of silly asian fusion for people who do not care about authenticity and doesn't realize the food could be so much better. Sure the food is served in a place that is overly dark and features neon and service was friendly enough, but geesh. The table ordered a bit of this and that - the dim sum starter looked and tasted like it was from costco, the maki were buried in gooey sauces, etc. The waiter referred to our sashimi as sushi, also not a good sign.
