  • Just say no! I couldn't get out of there fast enough! It started out that they left a message in Spanish on my phone. I don't speak Spanish. It all went downhill from there! The hygienist and her helper were just laughing and speaking in Spanish the whole time, not paying attention to what they were doing. I was just drowning in water the whole time. I told them I had insurance and at the end I got a bill for hundreds of dollars for a bad cleaning job. I had cleaning and x-rays. That's all. Hundreds of dollars. I found a new dentist to do what Aura didn't and it cost me a $50 dollar co pay. For x-rays and cleaning. Would you go back to a place like this? Never! You asked me to return you calls. You called my husband yes. You never called to talk to me! Patients come in early for their appointments, you shake their hands and you leave. You don't stay around to see how badly the patient is treated. There was a mixup with my insurance. Your staff never notified me that there was a question. They just charged me hundreds for x-rays and cleaning instead of clearing up the insurance question. My new dentist saw the problem and it was rectified within 10 minutes. The hygienist cleaning my teeth at Aura actually didn't clean my teeth. She ground on my teeth with the power cleaner, drown me with water in my mouth, was talking in Spanish and laughing the whole time. I had to have the new dentist fix where she ground away on my tooth. My new dentist charged me only my $50 deductible. If I get refunded my money I will take my lengthy post down and shorten it to "I just won't go there anymore". I will remove all the part of where I was mistreated and ripped off.
