I don't know much about Persian food but I really enjoyed this place.
I had no idea what to order but the waiter answered any questions I had about the menu. I also referred to yelp for suggested menu choices.
I started off with the hummus since that seems like a popular item. I don't even like chickpeas but IT'S SO GOOD. It comes with fresh bread and if you're reading this please order the hummus. Do it.
The lamb shank was tasty but I liked the chicken and beef combination plate more. The ground beef was so flavorful. To my surprise, I also enjoyed the greenish black rice that came with my lamb, according to my server it was made with dill and flava (?) beans- I've never had anything that tasted like this before and it was so delightful.
For dessert, I had baklava and the rose water, saffron and pistachio ice cream. The ice cream was weird at first but I like its unique flavor profile.
Dining here was such an experience and I will definitely return in the near future.
