This is an AWFUL school. I worked my butt off to get good grades and with only a few classes to go before graduating, I registered for summer (3 classes) last year and only did so because I got the award notification for financial aid grants which I had to depend on. Summer classes are shorter so time frames to attend, pay for or get a refund are limited. After awarding me financial aid, I registered for 3 classes. Two days after starting classes I logged on to check my transcripts and what not and saw my aid was taken back entirely and I had a balance on my student account. I called immediately and the first person I talked to said "Oh yes I see, looks like we made a mistake and you don't actually have aid this summer." Well. F***. I told her I could not afford the classes and she suggested canceling two of the three and make payments on one class at a time. I thought that was a good idea so immediately withdrew from two of them and she told me it will take a day or two to reflect on my student account. I waited a couple days and still owed the money for all classes so I called back again. The second person said "oh no you waited too long to withdraw from the classes so now you still owe the money for all three and you have a 'W' on your transcript."
Of course that is COMPLETE BULL SH**. I could not afford the classes and only registered because I was informed I had full grants. I only canceled classes because they recommended it. I filed an appeal TWICE because they "never received my paperwork" the first time and after a YEAR I have yet to speak to anyone about my appeal status because everyone who works there is only a student and they have NO IDEA what is going on or how to do their job appropriately.
The cherry on top? Well that would be the BULL S*** "excess credit" fee they are now charging all students who have not graduated and have several credits whether or not they were already paid for. Of course I could not continue classes because I had a balance too high for me to afford at once and since I have not graduated (and could have if they didnt make that mistake in the first place!) I am getting charged more money from having too many credits that were ALREADY PAID FOR!
Do yourself a favor, do not attend this school. Go to the university, go to another state, but do NOT GO TO SCHOOL HERE.
