First off, I dined in during brunch. Their service was nice and they all work very hard and diligently. My server wasn't attentive but it was okay I think she did great.
The food was okay. I loved how they're all portioned out. It was a unique experience but what worries me is I feel some food might've been left out sitting there. Most of the meats were a tad dry. I tried most of their food before I got full. The worst was the Dungeness crab legs... they're unedible. It was like eating salt and water. It was so salty I had to toss all the meats I took out from the shell... that lemon couldn't save them. Please someone tell me why is it so salty? I've never had crabs that salty before.... whoever cooked those is doing it wrong.
The one thing I did enjoy were the fruits and desserts... there wasn't anything I really liked. I wanted to like the bone marrow but tbh there wasn't much left in them. I cook better marrows at home just boiling them lol (same with those extra salty crabs) there was the spaghetti I has that tasted dry.. ok why's everything so dry??? The pasta was getting hard... The poke salad... was so plain I almost barfed, it had maybe a drizzle of siracha mayo, some guac, and pepper flakes. Let's just say I set my standards a little high just to be a little disappointed. Or very disappointed idk.
3 stars for service, decor, and desserts/fruits.
Will I come back? Nah there's nothing in peculiar that makes me want to come back for more. Would I recommend? Probably not since I had high hopes and was a bit disappointed with the food especially their overly salted Dungeness crab legs.
