These people are despicable. I had an infected tooth and needed an extraction right away because I was experiencing unbelievable pain. This was the only place I could find open on a Sunday and they said they took my insurance. After an exam and xrays that's when they tried to pull the scam. They said an extraction was a "pre approved" procedure and approval would take 3 to 4 weeks so therefore I would have to pay out of pocket. I explained that my insurance covered extractions 100 percent and that I had one done at another dental practice right away with no out of pocket. They said the other place was commiting insurance fraud! Yeah, right! They never did answer my repeated question as to why nobody told me this before I drove a long distance over there. Scammers!
Dear Kayla,
That is NOT what I was told by your financial person. In fact I was told that chances were that I would not be reimbursed. I went to another dental practice the next morning and had the tooth extracted at no cost to me just as I had before. I was in extreme pain, had an infection that was getting worse by the hour and your people knew I was in a desperate situation and figured they had me over a barrel! In my book that is despicable and uncaring!
