| - My husband and I were in Arizona for a fundraiser so right when we landed, we got our rental car and headed straight to Pig & Pickle because we know that we won't eat at the fundraiser.
3 stars because my drink didn't mirror the description on the menu so I was disappointed.
The menu we saw through the Yelp pages were different from the menu we got. When we arrived, we got the brunch menu. It was still good but I wished we could have ordered from the dinner menu. So when we're in Phoenix again, we will go there for dinner.
We got there around 11:30am and got seated in about 15 minutes so the wait wasn't too long. We ordered the following:
Bacon & Cheddar Waffle with Bourbon Maple Syrup ($10): So good, lots of bacon bits.
Croque Madam ($13): it was huge!!! Lots of ham, cheese and a thick piece of bread. There was more meat than bread so that was a plus for me.
Side of pork belly ($4): it was OK, I don't know why I always order pork belly when I see it on the menu, I really don't like eating pieces of fat.
Side of bacon ($4): we got so much bacon where we thought that we got 3 sides of bacon!
Biscuits and Gravy ($12): my husband said that it was a little spicy and very filling.
Dylon, Dylon, Dylon, Dylon & Dylon ($8): this was the disappointed drink I ordered. It has Pineapple Thai Chili Vodka, passion orange juice, fresh sour, soda and a spicy candied pineapple. It didn't have the candied pineapple and they told me that they ran out a while back. I ordered this drink because of the candied pineapple. I was so bummed.
I will definitely go back to try their dinner menu, after that I will do a total body cleanse with all the fat I would have consumed with just one meal.
