  • Run as fast as you can there are better and less expensive options. I have used what was formerly Paradise Waste, and then Allied Waste, and now Republic Services for 20 years for business trash disposal (2 times each week at 2 different locations). Recently we experienced the trash pickup not happening at one of our properties. Accounts all in good standing. Multiple calls to customer support (hold times are crazy), and even meeting in person with customer support managers, failed to address the problem. Finally get to talk to sales manager, and very apologetic, but tell them we are moving on and have found a better solution with none of the drama. We have a very simple account, pick up the trash 2 times each week, in a very accessible location. Never a problem with Paradise Waste or Allied Waste that wasnt resolved the next business day. Republic Services have no problem adding 10% to the bill every year, charging a fuel surcharge (or whatever called now), making sure a 2 year contract is signed, but looking after the customer seems to be a secondary function. We have found a much more affordable program with Commercial Waste, never a problem reaching someone with questions, and problems get resolved immediately.
