  • The hotel is very close to the airport and a Walmart but not much else. If you check out the reviews for the very few restaurants close by, none are recommended. Staff was fine but the room was so dark and outdated. The wallpaper is brown and the heater/air was falling apart and so dirty. I do not think it's a housekeeping issue, more of a building maintenance issue. Everything just needs updating. I also found a large spider in the sink... again, everything just needs to be updated including plumbing (the spider may have come from a drain) and the toilet does not flush properly. All in all I give this place three stars because I did enjoy my stay compared to other hotels. I only recommend this hotel if you will be in and out of Pittsburgh and don't plan on doing much, maybe for an overnight stay. Other than that, you should stay somewhere closer to the city.
