Century link has the worst customer service. I left cox because of the high cost for their services. Century link was suppose to install their internet at my house yesterday. The Tech did arrive and installed a modem. However, he left before he checked to see if it was working. I found that I was unable to log into the internet I called their tech support. I was informed that the tech couldn't check the system because there was a outage. And that the outage would last 12 hours. ( why would anyone do a install during a outage). The next day I called tech support again and was told there wasn't any outage in my area( don't you love it when a company will lie to you, just so they don't have to correct a problem. I spoke to a supervisor of tech support and was told he would look into it. He also said that he will make sure a tech comes to my house that date between 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. At 5:30 pm, no body has shown up. Another call placed to tech support, only to be transferred to customer service. Customer service stated that the best they could do was have a tech come out tomorrow between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm. The customer service was informed by me that if the. Internet is not working by the third day, they willl find their equipment on my front porch. After taking off of work for three days, there will not be a fourth day. Customer service replied with ". Do want you have to". Just love companies that care about their customers-NOT.
