  • As a native Californian, I was pleasantly surprised to see THRIFTY ICE CREAM when we walked in to grab up some of those totally affordable and delicious ice cream sandwiches ($2.50!) after hiking that little butte with our kids. The prices are so great and there are no gimmicks. The prices are simple, clear and end in 5 or 0. I love that. It's easy to manage, count and decide. And on top of it all, the ice cream, brownies and cookies we tried were all delicious! The whole family enjoyed a treat for less than $8. See you again soon, Slickables! Thanks for keeping it real.
