This review is only about the service I received at the store, not about the products. As a previous lover of Kiehl's products, I am on the mailing list. Occasionally Kiehl's sends out e-mails enticing you to come in with the offer of a free lip balm. On this occasion Kiehl's had sent a reminder the day before to go pick up the lip balm. Now, I like lip balm, of course I do, I'm a girl and I love free and I love Kiehl's, so off I went. I wasn't just going to show up and ask for my lip balm and not buy anything. I grabbed a bottle of my favorite moistuizer and walked up to the cash to pay and redeem. My presentation of my coupon was met with disgust by the salesperson. She indicated they were all sold out. Hmmm, there was a large container of lip balm in my line of sight. Perhaps, they were out of the ones they felt like giving out. I indicated that I had been reminded the day before to come in. She responded, oh well that may have happened. Uh thanks. She did reward my business with a free sample of some other moisturizer. Great. : p
