| - My girlfriends booked two rooms here and a suite for our friend's bachelorette party.
When we arrived, our rooms weren't ready despite our request for early check in and calling in before hand to confirm. That was somewhat annoying because we were on a time crunch to set up the room and decorate it with panties, phallic-themed goodies and all the bachelorette fixings.
Regardless, we were able to get in after a 45 minute wait in the lobby.
ROOM:I was surprised to see how renovated and nice the rooms were. Usually you don't think luxury when you hear "Treasure Island". I was expecting just very plain décor, but the rooms were nicely furnished, clean, spacious, and had modern décor. They looked newly renovated!
The three rooms we booked were adjacent, so it was a large suite basically with a total of 3 beds. Also, I forgot to mention that the lobby offered 3 bottles of champagne (one for each room) as an apology for the late check in. Not too shabby. When they delivered the bottles we had finished decorating the room and hung up the bridal panties by the door so I'm sure the room service guy thought we were funny lol.
POOL/AMENITIES: We rented a cabana by the pool for our party and the service from our waitress was excellent!! She was so sweet and so attentive. They have beer pong tables to play, lots of lounge chairs to lay out on, and the cabanas are close enough to the pool yet far enough for some privacy. The food was SO good!!!! I ordered a kale salad and it was ENORMOUS and super flavorful. Everyone rolled their eyes that I got a salad, but those beezys were taking it all back when I let them try the delicious salad. The other girls ordered pinwheels (mini wraps), stuffed jalapenos, fruit, and other finger foods. As far as I remember, it was all really good. For drinks I ordered a canned coconut vodka that I saw on the menu. I also got eyerolls because of that. But hey guess what, it was also BOMB! Ingredients were just unsweetened coconut water and vodka, and that's it! the waitress put it in a cup with ice and she threw in fresh fruit and viola! It was amazing.
NIGHTLIFE/RESTAURANTS:
They have a senor frogs here at TI so we decided to eat there the first day (lunch). It wasn't too packed and there was a air-balloon lady making us crowns/hats. it was all in the name of fun.
We also saw that they have a Latin Night on Saturdays so we came for that (we're a group of Latinas) lol. The line was CRAZY long but we had a bachelorette, and just went to the front of the line, perked up the girls, and got in no problem LOL.
Overall: our stay here was fun and stress free. rooms were great, location of TI is good (nearby the Venetian/Palazzo), and the things to do in the hotel were cool (pool, senor frogs).
I'd definitely come back here!
