I LOVE COUNTRY MUSIC! Yes, a country song tends to list off all of the things you have lost. I am not huge on the music scene that needs to use derogatory language to express itself.
Stoney's might be smaller after the move, but they are much better. I was not the biggest fan of the old location due to its run down look. With the new spot in Town Square, I hope they continue to upkeep the maintenance.
Seeing everyone get on the floor for the line dances was like watching a flash mob. The regulars take so much time to learn the choreography to certain songs. Apparently, Stoney's has a class every day from 7:30-8:00 for everyone to practice. On my last visit, I learned how to two step. One baby step at a time. If you need help, the more experienced ladies on the floor tend to lend a helping hand. The older generation of dancers are very accommodating and willing to guide people through.
The drinks are not too badly priced. Mixed shots are not that strong. Stick to the straight up shots and beer for a good time.
