| - My daughter wanted to have her 5th birthday here and we decided that even though it costs more than we would normally like to spend on a party, since its her 5th we would do it this time. What a mistake. I called and booked the party on tax day specifically because they were running specials. When I booked the party, I was told that we would be getting 2 pizzas and two two liter sodas for the adults for free as well as well as a free party experience. The next time called, there was no mention of any of that in their notes. When I told them, they told me that they would make sure to add it to their notes. I was then called back about 10 minutes later and told that we could either get the pizzas and soda OR the party experience for free, not both. So, I told them we would take the pizzas and sodas but we would pay for the party experience since it was a Wonder Woman themed party. The next time I called, they again had no mention of the party experience being added so I had to tell them again.
For the superhero training camp that we added, I was told that there was going to be games, music, races and more. They played maybe 2 minutes of superhero music, did one race, and chased one bad guy. That was it. Even the website says "When the Heroes in training complete the Training Camp, they will receive an I.D. Card and a Superhero Mask. The Hero of Honor also receives their very own Superhero Cape and Certificate of Completion." None of the kids at the party got a mask or I.D. card and my daughter did not get a certificate. She did get a cape, thrown into the bin with her gifts that she didn't even see it till we got home. I would in no way, ever pay for this again.
Every time I called, I was told something different. The party experience still wasn't added on after I told them I wanted to pay for it three times. When I called to let them know what food I wanted, they again did not add the two pizzas and soda that were free because of the special that was going on when I booked the party. And, one day before the party, I was told that my party was now at 2:15 instead of 2:20. When I asked why there was a change, I was told that their computer system had been updated and they no longer have a 2:20 time slot. When I asked why we were not called before, the kid just said "sorry". I paid over $400 for this party and they couldn't call me to let me know the time had changed? Not to mention, the kid on the phone then tried to tell me that we still had to pay for our food the day after my husband had called and paid off the entire party.
Nothing was easy about this party. I had to call and double check every detail, something I feel I shouldn't have had to do after paying as much as we did. Also, when they changed the time without letting us know I was told that they would go ahead and start the party at 2:20 like we scheduled, they didn't. They started the party early in fact. Also, the people who are supposed to be in the room taking pictures disappeared for almost the entire second half of the party, so we have no pictures of any of that. I will never book another party here
I'm sure you are wondering why I didn't complain. I did. I asked to speak to a manager on the phone almost every time I called and was told that the manager was not in. The day of the party, I really just wanted to try to enjoy my daughters birthday with her. The parties are only scheduled for 2 hours and I did not want to spend the entire time trying to get them to make things right. This place seems to be run by teenagers who really don't care how much you paid or that you are trying to make your child's birthday special. Not one person made me feel like cared at all.
