  • Cute place to check out and hang with comfortable yet unique (Jetson style) seating and a warm environment. I ordered a cappuccino, my usual espresso drink of choice. The beans used are from Mothership, a local coffee roaster and shop. I thought it was good and had a good amount of foam on top which not everybody does but is iconic for capps. They didn't make art with the foam which I kind of enjoy but every cup of coffee is served with a teddy gram which is cute! My one complaint about this shop, which may or may not be an issue for others and may be what they are going for, was that nothing there was their own. The beans are from Mothership, the beer is from Joseph James or Lovelady, and the food is from The Mad Batter and Chef Flemmings. It doesn't bother me that the beans are from another roaster but when I go places I look for things that differentiate one place from another and that makes it their own. Although I like that they out source from all local places. I love shopping local and it highlights other places that people may not have known/ heard about. The environment is also welcoming! They have a great space and they have a separate room with a huge table and flat screen tv to watch sporting events and host parties. Good coffee and warm environment. Great location - bringing something new to the downtown area. Would def consider going again just wouldn't go out of my way.
