Traditional style chinese restaurant, located in its own place at the edgr of vegas chinatown. Decor is plain and old, as well as the china. But some of our best meals have been in these types of places so we gave it a shot.
Service - Waitress didn't even give us two minutes to sit down before she asked what we wanted to order. We had to call her away 3 times since we were still looking at the menu... she could benefit from a lesson in learning body language. We ordered 6 things, only 5 came out. Which was good in the long run because it was too much food anyways.
Seafood soup bit salty but decent. Chewy.
Sweet and sour fried fish was done very well. Crispy fresh fishsteaks drizzled with yummy sauce. Similar taste to squirrel fish.
General Tso chicken (my banana sister wanted this) tasted exactly like a mediocore replica of the fish dish above, except with dry chicken pieces. Disappointing.
Veggies - they ran out of the ones we wanted so we tried asking about a different type (but very popular) mushroom dish. They looked confused and did not understand, maybe from a different part of china? We did not get what we wanted, but a much slimier kind of mushroom.
Chow Fun (seriously I dont know why my parents let her choose the menu so american) - very oily, HeFuns were pieces rather than long strands, making it difficult to eat.
Decent seafood but mediocore in everything else. Almost no other chinese in the restaurant, probably should have known. Oh well.
