  • Unfortunately, I was not impressed. I usually go to Scottsdale Gun Club, but this is so much closer so the hubby and I figured we would try it out. We brought his M&P .40 S&W and I rented.. well, several 9mms. Traded in the first one because it failed to feed repeatedly, traded in the second one (same problem -- range officer couldn't get it to fire properly either). Third time was, not quite the charm, but at least I managed to shoot through my ammo (@ $20 a box! Ridiculously bad price). I can only imagine that they do not properly clean and maintain their range weapons. Had no trouble with hubby's gun. Lighting was terrible and I was not impressed with the ventilation system -- there was a visible cloud of dust down range that I am not used to seeing at SGC. There was a time when the range officer left the range to go into the main store, leaving absolutely no range officer on duty. I'm giving it three stars because all of the staff that I interacted with were friendly, but I will not return. It is worth the extra twenty minutes in the car to get to Scottsdale.
