rev:text	I'm not a frequent sushi eater but I do enjoy it from time to time. Toyama is in the same center as the grocery store I shop at so I have known they where there but this was my first time trying them. My first impression was that this a laid back, non-trendy, neighborhood place. It was refreshing not to have a young 20 something, "made up" hostess with plunging neck line great me and no "club" type music blaring - both typical of most of the sushi restaurants in Scottsdale. The bar was full so I had a small table on what was once a patio that is now closed in. The staff was friendly and attentive. The menu consisted of typical sushi offerings with typical sushi pricing. Now I am not that adventurous so I usually stick to the rolls and I ordered a Philly and Spicy Tuna (my usual's). While I waited I did notice a significant amount of pick up orders going out so I felt comfortable that the quality must be good if the neighborhood is supporting them. My rolls arrived and I must say I experienced my first disappointment - they where VERY small and this is my only reason for not giving a 5 star rating. They where fresh and good but I ended up having to order another roll, the Spicy Salmon, which was equally good. Because of needing to order extra to "fill up" the total price edged up to the higher range of what you can get elsewhere. That said It wouldn't keep me from coming back - although I would probably prefer to sit at the bar, have a beer, watch a game on the TV, and eat a roll or two when not necessarily needing a full meal.....
