| - I am not going to go into great detail here because the circumstances are painful for me, but when earlier in the year my beloved elder cat was diagnosed with cancer, this vet was able to do an ultrasound that I could not afford from my regular vet, at about the third of the cost. Many of their services seem similarly affordable. When, tragically, the disease progressed so quickly that all treatment failed, they gave me a discount on euthanasia because I had purchased the ultrasound and then provided the most compassionate euthanasia experience I have ever had at a vet's. I have lost cats before - - this was the first time I could sit with him while he fell asleep (due to an initial anesthesia shot) but not have to watch him die. They got us in right away, too, even though they were very busy.
They won me over and I soon brought my surviving cats (two youngsters who will hopefully not get cancer anytime soon) for shots and a microchip. They are very affordable, but do be aware it can take a while while to get in since they only do walk-ins. For this reason (and the distance from my home), I don't think this would be where I took a true emergency, but I am definitely heading straight here for any surgeries, ultrasounds, tooth cleaning, etc, because they do them so much cheaper and they have kind hearts and hands.
Also, I asked and they said they do bunnies, too. Just in case any fellow rabbit people are reading this.
