  • K & B (stands for Kim and Ben, its owners) is a relatively new barber/hairstylist on Church St. Their place is clean, tidy, and well-lit. No drum and bass here - the mood is relaxed and neighbourly. Kim seems to know the name of every customer that walks in. I can't speak for the women's cuts (they do offer them), but a guy's cut will cost you $18 all-in (plus tip, if you do that kind of thing). I've been here a few times, and the cuts are quite good. As my hairstyle isn't particularly adventurous (I'm no Vivek S.), I consider consistency to be a pretty high priority, and so far K & B hasn't disappointed. They'll also bust out the straight-razor for your edges if you like. Note: my Old Italian Barber had the worst hours. K & B is open until 7 on weekdays, and is open on weekends as well.
