  • I came here solely because my co workers rant and rave about this place. We were seated quickly upon arrival. I don't know my servers name probably because he failed to pay attention to us, and give us a proper greeting. I heard this place gets pretty packed so the fact it was dead made me extra excited to eat! The first few orders come out, the salmon nigiri had this weird like blueish/whitish circle on all every piece and I was kinda freaked out about eating it, it resembled mold. The first roll came out and it look super good, the crumbs, the sauces, and the cuts were all equal. And for each roll after that it was down hill. For one there was only four tables max but three sushi chefs behind the bar with no one seating there. I tried to make eye contact with ANYONE and they all failed to pay attention. The chefs were more focused on themselves, they seemed to be able ot have conversations with everyone the host, servers, and some guy not wearing the uniform, not sure if he was a shift manager or what.. The didn't really want to make the sushi and that is for sure. The effort all around just sadly lacked, some rolls didn't have sauces on them at ALL. Some fish was left out, and my biggest pet peeve of all time is when the rolls are not cut the same size! And some were large some were tiny, and ontop of everything the food wasn't even rolled tight. The server wasn't taking plates from our tables, and was kind of just going around us the whole time. We didn't get our water refilled, and I am surprised we even stayed for as long as we did. I also have heard this location isn't as great as the other one. But I will NOT be checking this brand out again. Fish quality and service took a big 0/5 for me. Also when my man had asked about substitutions for fish he just blurted out no, and anyone who works in the service industry (I DO) knows you never say no! Just word it differently and be polite about it! *Mind you this was at 11pm and their happy hour had just begun sloppy food is expected when its close to the end of their shift but three hours before?*
