  • I'm in Charlotte visiting family and found Eddie's on yelp. Terrific lunch. I had a cup of gumbo and the lunch special chx enchiladas, both recommended by a very good bartender, who I forgot to get his name, but was really on top of his game. Food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. Btw I also took his recommendation for the blonde beer. Just as good as everything else he suggested. Great place. I live in NY now and am saying to you locals, don't take a place as good as this for grant Came to Charlotte for a visit but unfortunately tragedy struck with the death of my father. Eddie's was so convenient that I brought all of my family here over the last week. 7 meals in 7 days here. All of them outstanding, and I've lived in NY for the last 30 years, so I know great food when I find it. Breakfast burrito, all the po boys, chx salad sandwich, taco salad, she crab soup, gumbo, chx sandwich all got rave reviews from us. Time now to go back to our respective homes. My family jokingly said I became Eddies best customer in one week and that they'll miss me. But, you know, I'm going to miss them too
