I love this property.. The Assistant Property Manager, Unique is so fantastic, she helped us find the right apartment for us and really had an interest in who we were and what we were looking for. Jamie in the office is also great, so friendly and happy every time I communicate or go in needing some assistance. I have no issues finding a spot even if it is "after 7" it might be a little far out, but who doesn't need a little extra walk at the end of a day? This property is managed by Greystar - which my old property was managed by as well.. I had some issues with them in the past but this property seems to have running the community down to a science.
The units:
- Real Hardwood.. very nice touch to have in an apartment - it comes with a price, though. You can definitely see some imperfections in the wood from past residents, but, that's to be expected of an apartment building so no big deal there - overall they're beautiful.
- Gray Accents on baseboards & interior doors provide a sophisticated and modern look throughout the entire apartment - something that is really desirable in aesthetics these days.
- Granite - I love granite, but, I have only had dark granite and wow was it a pain to keep clean. The light granite in the Junction apartments is beautiful and easier to keep clean.
- Stainless & Tile - all appliances are stainless and there's beautiful tile in the washroom.
- AT&T services internet & Cable -- (although I think you can use time warner not positive) the community offers you a contact at att to set you up. I will say I wish google fiber was coming to the community.. I checked with google it doesn't look like they're slated to yet (Probably because AT&T offers fiber here -- which I have and it's fantastic)
- Rent - Really not that bad for this area. The cheapest 1 bedroom that we found was here in south end, and it has all similar amenities (I think this was nicer than some of the others that charged more)
The Property:
- Dog Park - the dog park is great if you have a furry friend to go socialize yourself after a long day of work. There are always people in there after 4-5p and happy to talk to new neighbors! **Please keep your dog on a leash though! Some residents don't care for furry friends and I've seen a lot of people without leashes.**
- Pool Area - I love the look of the pool (orange is my favorite color) but I will say it's a tad small for the amount of apartments they have in the community. It can get crowded on a busy warm weekend. But it's nice during the week (if you're like me and like alone time)
- Fitness Center - not much to say other than it's an appropriately sized center for the property & it is well maintained.
- Business Center - this is great for residents who don't have a printer or fax machine. You can go in and use this at your leisure and wifi is provided.
- Activities: There is always something to do on the weekends or evenings here! The community managers send out email reminders to let you know when there's a new event! (Although maybe the emails could be cut back just a little :) )
- Valet Trash - great for if you're on the top floor of a building or just had a long day's work.
-**Location** Best part! The apartments are located in South End which is a beautiful part of the city. There is a tavern that has food truck fridays down the street in the summer. There's a great salon called "Tribe" (go see DJ) and some other fun things to do here. If you like to walk the rail trail is really great and there are several entrances off the property to access.
- Safety - the community is safe and entirely gated to the inside. There are several units with walk-out access but every unit comes with a pre-installed security system that you can hookup if you desire.
