  • Giving zero stars. I had ADT in the past. I left ADT for another company. After all these years, I thought I would try them again with our new house. Why did I think that made sense? I called to make the initial appointment and wound up being on the phone for 1.5 hours getting it scheduled at the price I wanted. In the mail, at the new house, I got a flyer for a cheaper price. Called about that. They gave me a new appointment and the price on the flyer. Two days later, they called back to tell me that I called an authorized dealer and that the corporate account and the dealer account were competing in their computer system. After an hour on the phone, they told me I would have to cancel the dealer appointment. I called later that day back to the corporate office. After being transferred 4 times and two more hours on the phone, not only could they not match the dealer's deal, they BOTH had taken deposits (the dealer said they wouldn't until I met with them). I asked to cancel ALL orders and to refund me promptly. Well...today I got a call confirming my appointment. NO. It was to be canceled. Again, on hold. Now it is cancelled. And, although they promptly took my deposits, it will take up to 10 days to see the credit. You have got to be kidding me. I think I wasted 6 hours of my life on ADT. I will NEVER use them. I called a few other companies. I'll be using them. ADT will NEVER get my business. Heed these warnings on Yelp. DO NOT USE ADT.
