| - I absolutely love Houseseats and don't understand the complaints unless these people are logging in once a week in the middle of the night and getting upset with the offerings.
The membership more than pays for itself, especially if you are able to get in on the 2-4-1 deal. For $169 per year (if you don't get the deal), I've gotten $1200 worth of tickets for a single show!
Yes, the most popular shows go quickly. Who would expect otherwise? But there are definitely more than 10-20 tickets for the good shows, which I know from seeing the Houseseats lists the box office checks me off of.
The usual D-list shows are always available, and some are quite good so a decent deal if you have people in from out of town or are just looking for something to do on a Sunday afternoon. But I've seen countless shows I never expected to pop for free at venues like MGM Grand Arena, Orleans Arena, Mandalay Bay Events Center, House of Blues, The Colosseum, The Joint, Mandalay Beach, Brooklyn Bowl, Palms and Hard Rock Pools, etc. Strangely, the ones that I can't ever catch seem to be the B-listers like Sheena Easton or Kellie Pickler. I guess it's a Golden Nugget thing.
Sometimes a couple of weeks go by without any big shows popping up, but generally, I get things I would have been more than willing to pay for. My yearly membership with Houseseats is worth far more than anything I could get with Showtickets4locals (which offers crappy quality and service, even if you upgrade to Premium) or Fillaseat. I've been a member since 2010, and I'm still mad at myself for not hearing about it sooner!
