  • Heath Schneider and Susan Surland exceeded my expectations with a new home purchase mortgage. I secured a 3.625 30 yr fixed VA loan through 5 star. The customer service is excellent. Now, rates have dropped significantly. I contacted 5 star again and they will put me into a 15 yr fixed VA loan, at a full 1% lower than the original loan. The VA funding fee is .5%. Interest savings is over $96,000 compared to the 30 year loan. This made financial sense to me, not to mention having a zero balance after 180 payments. There was good communication with Heath that resulted in a win-win agreement. Susan has always been patient with my questions and concerns during the loan process. She is very professional and emailed me back promptly. Heath is a super guy to work with. Give 5 Star your business...you won't be disappointed.
