rev:text	Hats off to the Calgary Sun for covering the flood. I send copies home to my family in New Brunswick and they were amazed by the differences between our city newspaper ( Saint John Telegraph Journal - with no online access lol) Moving to Calgary I was amazed at what the writers said. I was amazed at not only the opinions they published but the hired writers. Maybe its because Im a small town girl, but I could not believe it. The more famous letter to the editor they printed was about how Newfoundlanders should go back to da rock .. LOL being a maritimer it surprised me that it was printed, but delighted me that it was. Yes its horrible to write, but its cool that the sun let this guy express his opinion in print. My favourite part is the opinion letters - and i noticed a lot of people are not happy about the Sunshine girl... and speaking as a woman, I like them. Ya, there dated - but I work at a dealership and I can tell you thats the first page most of the guys flip to! Regardless of your reason for opening a newspaper - at least there supporting local! BUT I HAVE TO SAY: That damn girl that always writes the recipies - man she sucks. I bet they just pay to have her little article in their paper (from a famous chef? LOL) so no one actually makes the dishes before printing. - But really, a vegeterian minstrone soup with beef broth? Really .... I mean im no expert, just shy of 22 and cooking for my husband but man at least I know that ... lol but all in all i like it
