  • Came in with a group of friends and played two of their five rooms which were Butcher's Basement and The Prisoner. Extremely impressed with the quality of the rooms here. I would give it a 4.5 but rounded it up to a 5. Here's why: Location of this place is pretty great, right near Dundas Square. Closest parking would be Atrium on Bay. But it is also close to the subway. It is right on Yonge street, above the Marble Slab Creamery (also, if you keep your receipt for after the game and bring it to Marble Slab, you get 10% off). Considering the prime location of this place, my initial thought would be, how could they possibly fit 5 themes into this place without compromising on space and quality? Well, they did a pretty awesome job with clever puzzles that make sense throughout the game - which are not overly difficult, but not too easy - and amazing props. That being said, the reception area of this place is extremely tiny. Only 3 bar stools for you to wait, so I'd advise do not come any earlier than you need to. The great part about this is, it's right on Yonge, so there's lots of things to do before coming in, whether it be shopping or grabbing a coffee or whatever. The staff there were only okay, and this is where they hurt the most. There were two girls working and both did not speak English all that well. One of them was quite rude when giving us hints.. she asked my sister "Can you move?" kind of dryly without a please. I'm a stickler for customer service, so I was a little disappointed with that. Nevertheless, it shouldn't stop you from coming in to try the rooms. Other than that one tiny thing - I would definitely recommend coming here to check out their rooms. They used some really fine quality props and décor so that alone it worth checking out.
