  • We just went through the process of buying our own home and when we finally closed and got the keys it was going to be the first time we saw the house without the previous owners things. I was disappointed to see that the bare floors were caked with a layer of dirt, dust and whatever else may have been tracked in over the last several months from home buyers and, handymen and movers. We had scheduled the delivery of our furniture just three days later and I was desperate to have the floors and rugs cleaned before we had immovable furniture put into place. I looked all over yelp and found four local floor cleaners that looked promising. Here is how it all went down: 1. I contacted all 4 options - one got back to me 24 hours later and I never heard from the other highly ranked yelp recommendations. 2. I had contacted Mike via the Yelp messaging option - this was fast and convenient feature that I had never used before, and I highly recommend using it for this company. 3. Mike replied to me within the hour - he and I made a deal for him to come clean the entire house before I was contacted by anyone else. 4. Through an exchange of short, fast paced txts, and one brief phone call Mike told me that he could be at my place the next day. He gave me an exact time and then let me know when he was on his way and when he was within a mile of my house. 6. The estimate that he gave me on the phone was exactly what he charged me. 7. He sent me before and after pix of the floor throughout the entire day. 8. He kept in constant contact with me via text and let me know what they were doing and when they had finished. 9. When I couldn't make it back to the house before he was done, he was nice enough to lock the house and escape through the garage. 10. The house looks fantastic - I was so happy when I finally got to see it. 11, He did the baseboards as a 'house warming' gift (which was totally unnecessary and so kind). 12. He made is clear that he would come back and redo any area of the floor that I wasn't 100% satisfied with, which isn't an issue because the floors are gorgeous. I didn't know how dirty the floors were until I saw how great they looked at the end of the day. I will use Mike again. I rarely comment on Yelp but the service and thoroughness of this company was worth the effort. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! I am so much more excited to start making this house our home after getting the floors so thoroughly made-over.
