  • I came across a gold ring and bracelet that I had not worn in 20 years and wondered what they may be worth. I was going to try to sell them on ebay but feared that buyers would be skeptical about their gold content. So, I came across the Valley Goldmine website. I sent an email and quickly got a response that the items were not really worth much as jewelery but they would give me 70% of the price of gold for 18k as scrap. I was very happy to know exactly what would get before taking them in. I met with Mike who verified the gold content and got a check for $1,250.00 for 54 grams of scrap gold.
