I selected this Residence Inn due to its proximity to our convention location. It was quite basic, and definitely inexpensive for the area. A room with a bed, a bathroom and a kitchen area. The layout of the property was a little unique; my room was at the back of the property and I had to wheel my bags a fair distance; thank you Samsonite spinners. The room was clean, but it also had an odd scent to it, like mildew. The breakfast was great, and the staff was attentive and relatively pleasant.
I will note there were people hanging out outside my room at 5am on a Sunday morning. Meanwhile, the security guard was in the main office. Not exactly reassuring, but then again, I was coming in at 5 am myself. It was nothing great, but hard to complain.
