| - If you're like I was and searching the Yelp pages of potential flooring installers for your home (or business), look no further. I recently purchased a new home and did not like any of the flooring options they gave me so I had to get new floors installed after the house was complete. I decided to go with Expert Flooring Solutions after a lot of research and multiple quotes. Aptly named, Expert Flooring Solutions offered expert service every step of the way.
I stopped by the Expert Flooring Solutions store after reading the many positive Yelp reviews and I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and knowledgeable Keisha is. It's worth mentioning that at this point in my search, I was already leaning towards another installer. I walked into the store with the mindset that I was most likely going to hire a different company but I just needed to cover all of my bases. The exceptional customer service provided by Keisha actually changed my mind. I took home a flooring sample that night and scheduled a free measurement.
Shawn soon came out to my house to measure the area of flooring I was replacing. Again, I was really impressed by the customer service. He was really friendly and took the time to explain everything to me. Others that came to measure were just in and out but Shawn stuck around to answer all of my questions, which were many. He's been in this business his whole life so he has a wealth of knowledge. I had specific questions about how the flooring would be laid next to my sliding glass door. Turns out, the installer I initially wanted to go with because they were cheap, would have voided my home warranty with their methods. Additionally, that installer also told me it would be nearly impossible to pull my baseboards off cleanly and they suggested either cutting the bottom of my baseboards and sliding the floors underneath or using quarter rounds. Shawn assured me that pulling off my baseboards and putting them back on was standard for them and that they would look good as new when the project was complete (and they did). After talking to Shawn, I trusted Expert Flooring Solutions and knew that they were the company to do the job properly.
My quote came back and they were able to offer me a very competitive price. Keisha called me to schedule my floors and I was excited, even more so when they were able to fit me in sooner than expected! Jamie and Mark handled the installation and were very professional. Jamie was very communicative and they showed up on time each day. The job took a little more than 4 days and they explained each step of the process to me. Most of the job was completed during the week and I just left them at my house while I went to work. They are very respectful guys. I didn't have to worry about moving any furniture or appliances at all and they made sure to clean up thoroughly when they were done; there was absolutely no hassle on my end.
Shawn came over to inspect the work and make sure it was up to their high standards, at which time I also received the invoice. I waited a bit to write this review so that I could comment on the quality of the floors. It has now been 2 months since my floors were installed and they are as durable as they are beautiful (see my attached before and after pictures-- I purchased the Quick-Step Laminate Reclaime in White Washed Oak).
I have been communicating with several different companies not only for my floors, but for other housing projects including landscaping and kitchen back splash installation. And I just cannot speak enough about how exceptional the service is at Expert Flooring Solutions. They are truly professional beyond the rest. And their work is beautiful! I highly recommend them as a trusted flooring installer- I will surely give them a call when I'm ready to do my upstairs bathrooms!
