| - Just food for thoughts to those who are considering putting your child in the Chandler location...
A friend recommended Bridges Preschool and we checked out a few of their locations, also some other preschools near-by. The Chandler branch was newly opened and our family attended their open-house and I did spoke to their Director at that time, Ms J.
We finally enrolled our kid but I was quite disappointed that things weren't the way they told us...
The ratio wasn't that low, at times, one class has 8-9 kids with one teacher and it's hard to have kid potty trained while keeping an eye on other kids outside.
The design of the their toilet bowl wasn't kids' friendly - it's the size of an adult toilet bowl just being slightly lower. Ms J shown us that some parents donated "a potty training seat cover" for kids to use in classroom. However, after almost two months (FINALLY!!!) they started potty training BUT with no potty training seat cover and despite we paid for the 'supply fees' each semester?! May be parents should all bring their kids' potty training seat cover which we did.
At times, out of the blue, some 'relief teacher' just transferred in from other branches for a few hours and the kids were not even familiar with them. A few times when I picked my kid up, greeted some of them and asked about my child - their expression 'literally' written in their face - please do not ask me any questions, I do not know what is going on...There is a lack of consistency and even their front desk ladies, keep changing ALL the time....
May be the Preschool expanded too fast and there is a lack of good management, we'll see how long this will go on and thinking of switching school soon.
