Went with two friends for the first time this evening after seeing the restaurant listed in Yelp. Chose it partially because of location and partially because of the cuisine. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is clean with simple yet tasteful decor. The seating area is on the smaller side but take out is available. It is clearly a family run business with the personal and loving touch only a family business can have. The food was delicious. Between the three of us we had fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, and soul rolls for appetizers. For the entree two of us had the perch dinner and one had Bourbon Street pasta. The dessert of the night was peach cobbler which two of us ordered and shared among us. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered and took home leftovers because the portions were plentiful. The service was very good. We will definitely return and I have other people in mind I would like to take there as well.
