| - First, if you have unlimited data, text etc, do not change that to whatever they offer you. They will pretend they are figuring out your usage and would give you false numbers just to make you get the other plan. Thank goodness I didn't fall for it!
If you are getting Direct TV through them don't believe everything the sales people tell you. They would say that they are offering a great deal of $40.00 to loyal At&t customers and they don't tell you that the deal is only for the first 12 months and the commitment is for 24 months, after the first 12 months it would go up to $85.00, when you receive the first bill you get a bill of a different amount. When you call them you will be spending hours with Direct TV and At&t because they have no idea of what you are talking about. They tell you that you have 30 days to cancel your service and when you call to cancel because you are not getting what you were told, they would say you only have 24 hours to cancel! Make sure you call Direct TV to confirm what you are being told by the sales representatives is true. The managers won't solve your problem, they don't value your time when you call the store they say that they don't want to deal with you over the phone that you have to go to talk to them in person. They think that we don't have a life and that our time is not valuable. It is a long story, to make it short, don't let them rip you off read the contract/agreement before signing it and make them show you what you are signing, they would only show you a blank device with only the signature lines. Direct TV takes for ever to answer and the supervisors won't do anything to help you until you get frustrated and upset and until you are ready to take other steps to solve their fraudulent activity. They (At&t managers and Direct TV) think it is normal to just tell people "NO" "We are not able to do anything about it, whats done is done and there is nothing that we can do." Rosa (one of the assistant managers at the At&t store) saying "It's not that I don't believe you, that the sales person gave you wrong information, but there is nothing I can do." It took me about a month to solve the problem. I really hope that nothing like this happens to any of you. :)
