  • Melt is awesome, but plan on splitting you sandwich with a friend (or taking half of it home) - these things are HUGE. If you're not in a cheesy mood, the vegetarian chili is also very tasty, and has a bit of a kick to warm you up on cold winter nights. The Independence location is a bit different than the Cleveland Heights and Lakewood versions. It has a much more open feel, with low walls and very little room to stand around the bar. The decor seems more 'organized' than at the other locations.. not bad, just different. I was here on a beautiful Friday afternoon for happy hour, and the crowd didn't show up until a little after 6.
