  • Just outstanding. I am a local, I've been here 3 times so far with 3 different sets of friends, and everyone so far is just really impressed. (Including tonight) Honestly, I'm a lazy Yelper. There, I said it. So.....I haven't reviewed before now, because I honestly believed this place would have so many 5 star reviews, that mine wouldn't matter. I was actually shocked to see this place clicking in at a 4. So I started reading them. It seems the prevailing sentiment in any of the poorer reviews, is that it wasn't "Mexican" enough. Not to be preachy here, but it's billed as a Latin Kitchen. Is Mexico part Latin America? Sure. Is Columbia? Brazil? Guatemala? Chile? Venezuela? Peru? Cuba? Haiti? (I digress) Yes to all of the above, and many more. So if you think it's not Mexican enough, perhaps you should learn a little geography, and maybe just go to a Mexican restaurant. But if you want SO much more than that, then cast aside the burrito, and take a chance on this place. You can really tell a LOT of passion went into the melding of flavors, to deliver a menu that they are clearly, (and rightfully so), very proud of. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the menu and preparations, and can talk freely and fluently about any menu item. They are professional, courteous, and attentive, almost bordering on too attentive, which isn't a bad thing. The drink menu is cutting edge, the Habanero Shrimp is divine, (had that tonight) the Barbacoa is outstanding, I could go on and on. Each of my 3 times here, I've had 3 different dishes, and sampled my guest's choices as well, and never had a b-level menu item. I could go on, but I think I've made my point. If you want a cheap burrito, go to Roberto's. (Which is also delicious) If you want a truly next-level culinary experience, with Mexican influence and SOOO much more, give this place a try. I am sold.
