| - You really have to know what you are coming for and getting yourself into when you go to Government...
If you are in the mood for a serious fixing of House music, then enter and party till the sun rises...
If you are looking for a place to come and have bottle service and show off your trendy jeans... Probably best to stay away...
This is where you come to get down and dirty and hear some of the best DJ's in the world.
My two personal favorite shows in here were Moby and U.N.K.L.E. But I have seen Paul Oakenfold, Armin Van Buren, Deep Dish, Junkie XL and on and on and on... Some of them, in the same night...
The Government has great booking skills. I wish that other music festivals had the proficiency and roster that Government can get for one night of clubbing...
On those big nights there are so many options. If you have had your fill of house, move over to the Orange Room and get a dose of some crazy Drum and Bass, or to get away from it all, go up to the rooftop patio, get some air and listen to some chill tunes...
This is the place you go to for a night of music and letting loose...
The main drawback for me is the overcrowding and the washroom situation.
Because this is a big place, management gets greedy and on the big nights they defiantly go over capacity. It can get very messy and you will get sweaty...
As a result the washroom scene gets absurd... So I hope you can hold your liquor or are very patient... Other than that, it is a good time... Get there early; avoid the lines and just chill out.
This is probably one of the most honest club experiences in the city and it is defiantly unique. The sound system is flawless and the light show will keep you going strong.
