  • Excellent Sashimi - we tried the salmon, yellow tail, and tuna belly. All delicious - very fresh and high quality- best I have ever had. I asked the owner and he said that fresh fish is flown in daily. Sushi rolls were excellent also - vegas, spicy salmon, and Cali roll were all fantastic. Nice wine selection that we matched to our meal. The owner was very nice to us and took time to talk and answered some novice questions we had on the cuisine. The waitress was excellent and made our dinner fun and when asked took a nice pic of us to document our excellent dining experience. Shimogamo is the best Japanese restaurant experience that I have had.
