Firstly, I like Yelp and use it for restaurants but I would not have thought of using it for a hobby shop.
I am the kind of person who is cost sensitive and really use web purchasing for most things. I had begun shopping for a drone a few months ago. I had used an internet base "rain forest company" to map out the major parts I thought I needed.
On a trip to Las Vegas, my buddy found this place and we walked in. Trace was super helpful and worked up a quote. He was so helpful that I figured that anything they were competitive on, I would get from them and the rest I would buy on-line. I told them this and they understood.
When I called to order the parts I was going to use them for, Anglo helped me and explained what I was looking at on-line was the old version. As soon as I looked closer, I realized he was right. The on-line ads were tough to navigate through. So, I bought it for a few dollars more from them. What a great call!
Lots of times you hear how it is great to have local service, well I'm not even local to the shop and their service is great. I've crashed a few times and had a few issues. They appear to be open 7 days a week and they are very helpful.
If you are considering purchasing a drone, understand that you will likely want someone to call for help. I highly recommend finding a shop that can provide the necessary support. Drones Plus has been great and is well worth the extra few bucks.
