| - Location! Yes, you're pretty close to restaurants and shops. The closest are the super loud entertainment district ones. And I do mean loud, even at 4:00 on a Sunday afternoon. Plenty more within walking distance, albeit it HOT walking depending on the day and time of year.
Likes: Parking is free and covered. Check-in was fast and probably the first time I didn't have to show ID. (not sure that's a good thing). Room was clean, and the bed quite comfortable.
Dislikes: No light by the side of the bed. There's a dim light that we finally found that goes around the top of the bed, but it's not enough for those of us who like to read in bed. Also didn't care for the shower. There's a small glass door that only covers part of it (and has a hole in it), so water gets in the bathroom. If you want housekeeping, you better want it at their convenience, because we got a note on our door that said they came around at 9:20 am and we had the do not disturb up, so if we wanted towels or something, ask them after 2pm. Thankfully we were only staying two nights, so it was no big deal to make due.
Likes and Dislikes: The bar. Happy hour is 4-7 every day! Our first day we loved it, especially since we needed a place where we could hear ourselves talk. Entertained a guest and spent a good chunk of change and had a great bartender. Food is iffy. The potstickers aren't bad, even though the dipping sauce is super thick. Chicken fingers are okay especially with the honey mustard. Not a fan of the personal pizza or the sliders. Let's just say they couldn't survive without a microwave. Second night we liked the Bartender gal just fine until she let us have it by not giving the happy hour price for Husband's drink. Not a fan of the inconsistencies, especially for the lack of quality. If a drink is not included in happy hour pricing, TELL the customer.
