  • This is one of our favorite restaurants. However, we just celebrated my birthday there and were very disappointed with the service. We had reserved an indoor space because of a medical issue I have and were assured we would be inside. Instead, they gave our table to someone else and we were seated outside in 100 degree temps. We asked twice for a pitcher of water for the table since it was so hot and we were constantly needing refills. Both times we were told no problem, yet the pitchers were never brought. We asked one more time and were told they weren't allowed to leave pitchers at the table. So they can leave a pitcher of beer, but not a pitcher of water? Did I mention 100 degree temp? It took awhile before anyone took our drink order. Then another while before anyone took our food order. We had a hard time flagging down our server, even when one of the people in our party had an allergic reaction (heads up: their pesto contains walnuts). Thankfully one of the other guests in our party happened to have a Benadryl. It's like we were an invisible table because the smaller tables immediately next to us seemed to have decent service. Will I go back? Yes, because the food is delicious, but I will never again use it as a venue for a group setting. Too bad my most disappointing experience had to be for my birthday.
