  • I feel sad writing this review because I expected to be blown away when I came into Bento today. The last time I was there was about 1.5 years ago, and tried the "real" Chinese food they had back then. I felt like I got a little taste of my second home. Today I was around the area and actually called my friends over to Bento to try authentic Chinese food for the first time. First of all they don't have the separate chinese menu anymore, now it's incorporated into the other menu. I just knew it's not the same. And it wasn't. Everything is Americanized now, even the food that was supposed to be authentic. I had chili boiled fish, mapo toufu and pepper chicken and they all tasted different than the last time I went. Such a disappointment! Probably not coming back.
