I went to this office all throughout my 1st pregnancy and have been going here again (until I can get another appt at a different office) throughout my 2nd pregnancy.
With my first pregnancy, my first doctor left midway throughout my pregnancy and moved to Ohio. I was then forced to see a nurse here practitioner because of the other doctors full schedule. Each appointment I was there for 3-4 hours because of the long wait times.
During labor, my nurse practitioner was supposed to deliver the baby at the hospital. However, while I was pushing she just ups and leaves because she "has a work meeting." Awful.
I decided to give this office another chance while I waited to get an appointment at one of the best offices in town. Also the entire staff was brand new so I thought I'd see if they were any better than the last pregnancy. Big mistake.
I've had two appointments here during my 2nd pregnancy and an ultrasound. The first one actually went pretty good. It was with a younger nurse practitioner. I was in and out.
My 2nd appointment I was booked to start seeing the doctor. I waited two hours to see the doctor (with my almost 2 year old daughter with me). I had to take a pee test again at my 2nd appt. The nurse tells me that they're just confirming pregnancy (which I had already done at the first appointment). I told her I already did and she has no idea this is my 2nd appt at this office for this pregnancy. Red flag.
My appointment was at 3:45 and I was there on time. It was then 5:20 and nobody had gone into my room yet. I go outside to ask the nurses if they even remembered we were there. And they say, "the doctor hasn't gone in there yet!? Ya we are closed." So we go back into the room and wait longer for the doctor. The doctor comes in the room, doesn't introduce himself, doesn't introduce his student worker, and asks me to pull my shirt up to try and get a heart beat. Awkward. Patient care was awful. He says he doesn't need to see me for 4 weeks.
The next morning (on a Wednesday) I get a call from someone in scheduling saying that I need to come in for a 1st semester ultrasound before Monday. I will be 14 weeks pregnant on Monday. The only times they have conflict with my work schedule but I absolutely have to come in. This does not work for me. Why did they just notice 3 days before I start my 2nd trimester that I need a 1st semester ultrasound.
This office is a nightmare.
