I visited Sweet Olenka's after several months of passing by this place over and over and hearing so many great reviews about how great their ice cream is. On a Sunday evening me and my sister decided we might as well give this place a shot. They just recently moved over to what used to be an autoshop place which makes Sweet Olenka's look like they almost have TOO much space now for their place. There are a few stools by the window and only 2 or 3 tables to sit down and eat your ice cream. On one side they have coffee and truffles/chocolates/cookies and on the other side of the place they have their ice cream and cake/ice cream sandwich fridges. I was hoping to find cookie dough as an option but was disappointed to not see it there. I asked for a sample of their chocoalte brownie ice cream and found the brownie bits to be super soft and way too mushy and wet which made for a terrible texture in my mouth. Instead I got a scoop of the cookies and cream. They do add a little chocolate leaf to each ice cream which is a cute nice touch however, once I got into my ice cream I was SO DISAPPOINTED..I couldn't believe it. The ice cream tasted over frozen and brought me back to those days as a kid of having to scoop the mere corners of the chapmans box that got way too frozen in the freezer. The ice cream was nothing special for me unfortunately. I had high hopes for Sweet Olenka's but instead I got disappointment. It could have been a one off day...
