Well actually I would have rated it about a 3 1/2. In order to get a 5, I expect consistent execution and service. Vegas has too many restaurants with great quality ingredients and flavors at this price point. We had such a mixed experience. The service: Eddie, our waiter, although green (just turned 21), gave spot on recommendations and exceptional service. Our sommelier on the other hand was an incredible snob. My husband and I are experienced in wine selection and this is not our first rodeo. We clearly stated we wanted to start with a white and move to a Pinot Noir for the main course. First, he was clearly annoyed that we were not buying a bottle for each course and then continued to recommend the most expensive Cab on the menu. Poor form. Food: The scallops, wagu skirt steak, & mushrooms grits were out of this world!!! (All recommendations from our waiter) The ceviche was bland and clearly missing the habanero, which was high-lighted on the menu. The bacon and egg fettuccini had spot on flavor, but the pasta was severely overcooked (unforgivable in my opinion). I would pass up this mediocre choice for a more refined option.
