| - Swanky ambience, great service, great happy hour menu. Happy hour fan.
We had 4 appetizers from the happy hour menu - wild mushroom flatbread, calamari, greek plate, & arranici.
Wild mushroom flatbread with truffle oil, goat cheese, & plentiful on the mushrooms was fantastic! Lots of flavor - the delicate blend of the truffle oil with the mushrooms & the goat cheese was melt in your mouth for a mushroom & goat cheese lover.
Calamari - pretty standard fare here. Nothing that sets this one apart from any other calamari.
Greek plate - could have had a bit more to it. It sounds like more when you look at the description of all the items that are served - the dolmas, hummus/flatbread, 6 olives, stuffed peppers, & white bean w/parmesan salad. The flatbread was crispy like a toast & as thin as a cracker. We were expecting more the soft bread that we could dip in the hummus.
The ricotta filled dough balls were good & larger than the ones that can be purchased at Trader Joe's. My gf & I agreed that they tasted like the ones we could purchase at Trader Joe's. She loves them as doughy goodness.
Overall a great place for a cheap happy hour. We agreed we weren't sure that we would come for the full menu but for 2 beers & 2 appetizers or a martini & 2 appetizers for under $20 w/o tip for happy hour it is fantastic.
