Insurance agents get licensed for a reason...except it seems like at this branch they don't know what they are doing. Yes I'm not perfect and I had my insurance lapse. I called the office back after receiving a courtesy call regarding my insurance coverage. A guy answered and I asked him what it would cost to get my insurance back since it got cancelled. He asked for my name and said he was pulling up my account. He gave me a price so I paid it. I asked for an insurance ID card since I don't have a current one to which he hand wrote something on an insurance card but I noticed there wasn't a policy number on it. I called the next couple days asking about when I was going to get insurance cards...his reply was as soon as my payment clears the bank. So I did see the funds went through my bank so I emailed and called to which I received no response. I kept calling and just got voicemail...finally today I talked to another person and he said that the other insurance agent made a mistake and should have restarted a whole
new policy since the previous policy was past the date in which it could be reinstated (he said it was the 1st or 2nd but wasn't sure so I missed it by a few days).. Now he is saying that I will have much higher premiums...wow... Thanks for nothing...this is a perfect example of corporations screwing over lay persons...insurance companies make a ridiculous amounts of money and they charge so much...it has to be the largest legalized scam in the world.. So the insurance guy tells me that because of this issue and mistake my premiums will go up...yep so it doubled...his response? Oh yeah he apologizes for the mistake...What a joke!!! Stay away from this branch!!!
